This October NASA has planned to send a mission to Jupiter named Europa Clipper, the mission will carry a special message in 103 spoken languages of Earth including Hindi.
The Message In A Bottle
The word Water is Uttered in 103 languages including Hindi. A triangular metal plate made of tantalum metal measuring in size of 7 by 11 inches is featuring graphic elements on both sides.
A pattern of waveform has been etched into the plate, they are the visual depiction of sound waves. They were created & engraved onto the plate from audio data.
These waveforms emanate from an American Sign language for Water.
As Earth is seen as a blue marble from space full of biodiversity of life & water, similarly Jupiter’s moon Europa too shows a strong evidence to having twice the size of Earth’s oceans under its thin icy crust.
The plate will honor the spirit of the Golden Record of the Voyager Spacecraft which conveys sounds and images of the rich diversity of life on earth.
The message is a unique effort done by NASA where the names of 2.6 million people will be traveling through space within a silicon microchip stenciled with more than 2.6 million names contributed by the public is also present in the artefact. It is NASA’s “message in a bottle” campaign which asked people to contribute their names for the space mission, besides this there is a poem hand written by the U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limon “In Praise of Mystery” its etched of the other side of the tantalum metal plate.
The spacecraft’s one side journey will be of 1.8 Billion Miles (2.6 billion kilometers).
Confirming The Existence Of Life
The Main aim of NASA’s mission is to throughly survey the moon. There would be 50 flybys to ascertain whether there is any form of life on the Jupiter’s moon Europa for future human endeavors.

Europa Cliipper Magnetometer (ECM).
The Magnetometer will be studying Jupiter’s moon Europa’s magnetic field, measure the depth & salinity of Europa’s oceans & confirm their existence.
It will also study ionized atmosphere of Europa & how Jupiter’s gravity effects its moon Europa.
Gravity & Radio Science
Jupiter’s moon Europa has a very unique non-circular orbit which brings it closer to Jupiter then it goes farther away. The Clipper mission will measure Europa’s surface & its internal structure & effects of Jupiter’s Gravity.
