The Union Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw has launched the RailOne App at the Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 1st July, 2025. While the app focuses on improving passenger interactions with the railways, assisting in various dimensions, the day was also the 40th Foundation Day for the Center of Railway Information Systems (CRIS). - Unreserved UTS via R-Wallet with 3% discount

- Authorised by IRCTC

However, the booking for reserved coaches shall be continued and made on the IRCTC App only.
Upgradation to the PRS System
- The CRIS team was given appreciation for strengthening the digital face of the Indian Railways by bringing considerable updates to the Passenger Reservation System (PRS).
- The PRS system is now strengthened. It is modern, agile, multilingual and scalable.
- Handling capacity per minute: 1.5 lakh ticket bookings and 40 lakh enquiries
- Other Advanced Options: Seat choice, fare calendar and facilities for disabled and old aged travellers.
Why is the RailOne App is Introduced?
- RailOne App is introduced to bring all the railway services to one platform. The need to keep multiple apps in your smartphone has now been eliminated. This one app can book unreserved tickets, can tell the PNR status and much more.
- This app offers a single mPIN login option, you can also login through biometric. It offers an easy login procedure in comparison with the other apps.
- RailOne App is a technological advancement under the Ministry of Railways which offers multiple services with better efficiency under one app. As per the promises made by the Ministry, the app will continue to develop with more features for passengers in the coming future.
