However, it was found that all 617 candidates had only enrolled in the Interview Guidance Programme, a course that comes into play after clearing the preliminary and mains examinations. By omitting this crucial detail, the institute created a misleading impression that all its courses had high success rates, potentially deceiving prospective students.

StudyIQ IAS advertised claims such as “Success Pakka Offer” and “Selection Pakka Offer” but failed to substantiate these claims with appropriate documentation, such as enrollment forms and fee receipts of the successful candidates. This lack of transparency was deemed misleading to consumers.

Edge IAS published advertisements featuring the names and photographs of 13 successful candidates from UPSC CSE 2023 without disclosing the specific courses these candidates had enrolled in. The investigation found that 11 candidates were part of the Interview Guidance Program, and 2 were enrolled in both the Mentoring Course and Interview Guidance Program. Concealing this information was considered deceptive, as it could mislead potential students about the effectiveness of the institute’s various courses.
